Privacy Policy — Lockademy: Lock Screen Korean (English)

Effective date: July 10, 2026 · Developer: HustleUp · Contact: hustlin.up@gmail.com

Summary

Lockademy: Lock Screen Korean works fully offline. Your study progress, favorites, and settings are stored only on your device and are never uploaded anywhere. We operate no servers and require no account. The only third-party data processing happens through Google services for advertising and purchases, described below.

Data stored on your device

Study progress (which words you know), favorites, quiz statistics, and app settings are saved in a local database on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes this data. We cannot access it.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows banner ads served by Google AdMob, including on the lock screen card and in the companion app. AdMob may collect and process device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), approximate location derived from IP address, and ad-interaction data to serve and measure ads. See how Google uses data from apps that use its services.

Where required (e.g. EEA/UK), a consent dialog (Google UMP) is shown before any ad loads, and you can change your choice at any time via "Ad privacy options" in the app. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings.

Purchasing "Remove ads" stops all ad serving and the associated data processing.

Revoking consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland)

If you consented to personalized ads, you can revoke that consent at any time: open the app, go to the Ads section, and tap "Ad privacy options". The consent message will be shown again so you can change or withdraw your choices. This option appears automatically for users in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland.

Purchases (Google Play Billing)

The one-time "Remove ads" purchase is processed entirely by Google Play. We never see or store your payment details. Google's handling of that data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

Permissions

The app requests: display-over-other-apps (to show the study card on the lock screen), notifications (study reminders), and battery-optimization exemption (to keep the lock screen card reliable). None of these are used to collect data.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a new effective date.
